Sneaker Prints Collection
I love sketching sneakers!
Why sneaker art prints? Growing up as a sneakerhead in a suburb of Boston, my passion for footwear started at an early age. The vibrant streets of Cambridge and Boston, weekend trips to NYC with their eclectic mix of styles and cultures, fueled my fascination with sneakers.
Over the years, this obsession evolved into a love for drawing shoes. Sketching out designs allows me to blend my artistic talents with my deep appreciation for innovative and stylish footwear. In this blog, I'll share my favorites.
Sneaker art prints
This is a design I drew that incorporates my personal favorite, the New Balance 574, while utilizing a palette of bright pinks, an outfit I’ve worn many times. Sneaker artwork is a reflection of my youth and today’s athleisure culture. Sneakers are comfy, versatile and bridge the gap between athletic wear and everyday fashion. They’re just cool and the colors are endless. To me, it’s a staple for expressing my individual style.
I love sketching a classic sneaker like the Adidas Gazelle, especially when I see someone on the street styling them in an unexpected way. In this case, a plaid overcoat and rolled up jeans.
A few of my favorite shoe art prints
Whether chunky 90’s styles or the slim silhouette of Sambas, it seems that people are finally embracing comfort over formality. Something I can totally get behind as someone forced to wear boring office casual dress codes for years. I love what I’m seeing on the street and on social media and directly channel that inspiration when creating some of my favorite shoe art prints. Which one is your favorite?
